Hi, I'm Billie, a registered civil celebrant (she/her) based in Canberra and a proud ally to LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse and First Nations people, and all cultures.

​I'm creative, fun-loving and outgoing, and I build modern ceremonies around the personalities of the people in them, with plenty of laughter along the way.

​

Whether it's a short registry-style wedding, an intimate elopement, a big celebration or a farewell for someone you love, I'm happy to be part of it.

 

As a retired registered nurse, I've spent a career caring for people at big moments, and I bring that same calm and compassion, plus a bit of humour, to every ceremony.

 

I'm flexible too: weekdays, short notice and travel are all on the table. ​​

I specialise in bespoke, modern and individualised ceremonies for the whole of life cycle, including marriages, end of life celebrations and services.

Weddings

Whether you want the legal bit done in ten minutes or a full day with everyone you love, there's a ceremony for you. These are starting points, not rules, so give me a call and let's shape it around you. 

Registry Style Wedding (Legals Only)

For the couple who wants minimal fuss and minimal cost, a legal stuff only ceremony will take care of the formalities without the bells and whistles.

Elopement Ceremony

A short, personal and meaningful ceremony, with a few of your favourite people. 

Full Wedding Ceremony

The whole ceremony written from scratch around your story, for weddings of any size. We'll meet to plan it together, run a rehearsal, and I'll bring the PA so everyone can hear. 

Funerals and End of Life Celebrations

A warm, personal farewell, shaped around the person you love. Whether you need support now or want to plan ahead, I'm here, gently and without pressure.
